Should online MMPORGs and other games have automatic lockouts after a certain amount of time?
Following the death of a baby from starvation, and many other cases of neglect (either of self, pets or children)
Should online games have an automatic lockout after a certain amount of time, say, after a certain amount of hours have been logged in each day?
Yes or no?
Would it be in defiance of freedom of action?
If this measure isn’t taken, what other actions can online game suppliers do to ensure people don’t “overplay”?
I think Online Games must have a ‘timer’ anywhere on-screen to inform the players how long they have played. I know an Online Game that already implemented this — Maple Story. .
